Robert Emmerson Brown, Jr.

Robert Emmerson Brown, Jr. passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2024. He was 73 years old.

Robert was born in Vicksburg, MS on June 14, 1951.  He worked as a truck driver, was a number 1 mechanic and a number 1 prankster. He is preceded in death by his parents Robert Emmerson Brown, Sr. and Emory Alice Landrum Brown.

He is survived by his son Bobby Joe Brown, a brother Raymond Brown (Peggy), 2 sisters Roberta Nielsen (Elmer) and Becky Myers (Gerald), and 2 grandchildren Thomas Emmerson Brown and Corbyn Mitchell Brown (Taylor).

Visitation will be Monday, November 25, 2024, at Glenwood Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of the service. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. in Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Brumfield officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Robert McCollugh, Timmy McCollugh, Shan Woods, Vince Button, Danny Hearn, and David Hibbs. Honorary Pallbearers will be Wesley Brown and Billy Ray Muirhead.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Heritage House staff, Pax Hospice, Dr, Sam Pierce, Morgan Caulfield, Dr. Hodge at UMC.
