Robert Lee Hays, Jr.

Robert L."Bill" Hays, Jr. passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2019. He was 88 years old.

Bill was born on July 26, 1930, near Eden, MS. He spent his life as a carpenter building and remodeling houses. He loved to hunt especially deer with his wife of 55 years. He was a faithful member of Cary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife Helen M. Hays; 2 sons Robert Alvin Hays, and Robert L. Hays, III; daughter Marie Palermo; 2 brothers William Hays, and Harold Hays; sister Wilma Davenport; 2 grandsons Robert "Robbie" Hays, IV, and Kris Hays.

Services will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Cary Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Sanders officiating. Visitation will start at 10:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow in Mound Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Robert Alvin Hays, Robert L. Hays, III, Robert "Robbie" Hays, IV, Kris Hays, William Hays, and Bobby Brown.
