Robert Lloyd Heigle

Robert Lloyd Heigle, 90, of Mayersville, MS, passed away peacefully at home on October 12, 2025.

Born on September 20, 1935, to L.M. Heigle and Evelyn Leland in Morrilton, Arkansas. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was a farmer for most of his life and an avid hunter. He is preceded in death by his parents, L.M. and Dorothy Heigle and Evelyn and Robert Leland; his sisters, Brenda Heigle and Peggy Bartlett (Bill).

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Shirley Heigle; son, Dale Heigle (Sharon) grandchildren, Ashley Lanford (Justin) and Robby Heigle; great-grandchildren, Will Lanford, Allie Lanford, Parker Heigle, and Neely Heigle; siblings, Roger Heigle (Annette), John Robert Leland (Margaret), Mary Katheryn DeBusk, and Teresa Heigle Showacre (Jack); and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Lake Washington Baptist Church in Glen Allan, MS followed by a graveside service at County Line Cemetery.  Services are directed by Glenwood Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Robby Heigle, Parker Heigle, Justin Lanford, Will Lanford, Ricky Cox and Brad Heigle.
