Robert James Trussell, III

Robert James Trussell, III passed away on November 4, 2025, at the age of 77. Robert was born on December 26, 1947, in Vicksburg, MS, the son of Robert James Trussell, Jr. and Ida Merril Owens Trussell.

Jimmy was an avid fisherman and loved hunting with his children and grandchildren. He was employed by International Paper Company for 43 years and has been retired for over 10 years.

He was preceded in death by his mother, father, and his sister, Sylvia Sharp.

He is survived by wife Lynda, brother Mike and Deanne, and his sister Linda Spalding and numerous nieces and nephews; his 3 children Kelly, Travis, and Angie; his 6 grandchildren Claire, Kathryn, Haley, Colin, Kristopher, Gavin; and 4 great grandchildren Kylie, Hudson, Wyatt, Halston; and 1 more on the way Henson.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Bovina Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
