Robert "Bobby" S. Smith

Robert S. "Bobby" Smith passed away on November 12, 2023.  He was 68.

Bobby was born in Winnsboro, LA on October 28, 1955, the son of Bob Franklin Smith and Lois Joan Archibald Smith.  The family moved to Vicksburg in 1956 where he was a 1974 graduate of Vicksburg High School.  He was a longtime employee of Cooper Lighting.  He was currently employed at Waterview Cassino as a Security Officer.  He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his mother Joan Smith.

He is survived by his father, his son Matthew Smith, daughter Lesley Harris (Charlie), and grandchildren Audrey Smith, Clifford Smith, Samuel Smith, Gideon Harris, Judah Harris and Eden Harris.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Glenwood Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home.  Rev. Charlie Harris will preside over the service.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Smith, Matt Case, Sean Lea, Jacob Lea and Joey Simmons.
