Sandra "Sandy" Lynn Gayle Herman

A graveside service for Mrs. Sandra “Sandy” Lynn Gayle Herman, age 77, will be held at 1l:00 AM, Saturday, October 16, 2021, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah, Louisiana, with Bro. Thomas Boothe officiating under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah.

Sandy passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at her home in Tallulah. She was born August 12, 1944, in Tallulah to Clyde Heinrick Gayle and Martha Elizabeth Coates Gayle. She married Harry Benjamin Herman on November 10,1964, and they made their home in Madison Parish, Louisiana, where they raised five children. Sandy was a loving wife and mother. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Sandy was preceded in death by her son, James Wallace Herman. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Harry Herman; four children, Ben Herman and wife, Whitney, Tammy Herman Griffith, Robbie Herman, and Howard Herman; five grandchildren, Jimbo Griffith, Victoria Griffith Byrd and husband, Austin, Abbigayl Herman Osha and husband, Zachary, Landon Benjamin Herman, and Dawson Herman; and one great grandchild, Bennett Byrd.

Pallbearers will be Howard Herman, Jimbo Griffith, Austin Byrd, Zachary Osha, Gideon Gayle, and Frankie Gayle. Honorary pallbearer will be Landon Herman.
