Sheila Kay Miller Jobe was born August 20, 1951, in Marshall, Texas, to Floyd and Thelma Louise Poland Miller. She grew up in East Texas and Shreveport area. While visiting in Tallulah, she met her husband of 57 years, Bernnie Jobe. She became a Christian follower of Jesus Christ at an early age.
Sheila passed from this life November 25, 2024, at UMMC Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi, after a brief illness at the age of 73. She leaves behind, her husband, Bernnie Jobe; three sons, Bryan (Clara), Chris, Kevin (Marisol); and a brother, Jerry Miller (Darlene). She also has a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren of whom she was very proud.
Preceding her in death were her parents; younger brother, David Miller; and grandson, Matthew Jobe. Also preceding her in death were her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charlie and Berniece Jobe. Sheila always told everyone that her mother-in-law became her mother she never had since she lost her real mother at a very young age.
Funeral services for Mrs. Sheila Jobe will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, November 29, 2024, at Crothers Glenwood Funeral Home with Pastor Jimbo Herring officiating and Eva Taylor providing music and songs. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah.
Pallbearers are Tim Jobe, Joe Jobe, Eric Jenkins, Mike Holland, Tom Coruthers, and Jerry Miller.
