Stephanie Brown Stevens, 56, of Anguilla passed away Monday, June 28, 2021 at her home.
Services will be held at Anguilla United Methodist Church on Thursday, July 1. Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m. and the funeral will follow at 11. Burial will follow at Straight Bayou Cemetery in Straight Bayou.

Stephanie was born in Vicksburg on November 21, 1964 to Jesse Malcom “J.M.” Brown and Dianne Keith Brown. She married Bobby Stevens April 19, 2017 and was happily married until the day that she passed.
She attended Delta State University earning her degree in accounting. As a Certified Public Accountant, she had her own accounting firm, Stephanie Stevens, CPA, PLLC, where she served her clients and community. She was bright and gifted in the accounting services she offered her clients.
Stephanie was loved and was a friend to so many. Family was the biggest part of her life. She loved spending time with all of her family and will be missed by them all deeply.
She loved her church family at Anguilla United Methodist Church where she had always been an active member. Stephanie was a child of God and had been made whole through Jesus Christ. We are comforted in the fact that she was called home to be with her heavenly Father and that we will see her again.
She is preceded in death by her son, Andrew Malcom Hodnett.
Stephanie is survived by her husband, Robert “Bobby” Allen Stevens of Anguilla; parents, Jesse Malcom “J.M.” Brown and Dianne Keith Brown of Anguilla; brother, Roderick “Rod” Keith Brown of Ridgeland; daughters, Sydney Hodnett DeFillips (Matthew) of Cleveland and Claire Ann Stevens of Yazoo City; sons, Robert “Bob” Boyd Hodnett Jr. (Lindsey) of Anguilla, Colby Allen Stevens of Yazoo City, and Connor Newsom Stevens of Yazoo City; and grandchildren, Drew, Caitlin, and Ruthie Hodnett of Anguilla.
