Steve Jacob Muirhead

Steve Jacob Muirhead passed away, Saturday, June 14,2025. He was 87 years old.

Steve was born on January 7, 1938, in Vicksburg, Ms. He was the son of Ed and Pearlie Muirhead. Steve worked as a mobile home manufacturer for 26 years before working for Marathon LeTourneau before retiring to work with his son in construction, dirt work and farming. He is preceded in death by his parents Ed and Pearlie Muirhead, his wife Bobbie Muirhead, grandson Steven Muirhead and his brothers and sister, Alfred Rist, Bertha Guin, Marvin Muirhead and James Muirhead.

Steve is survived by his daughter, Josie Quimby and his son, Ronnie Muirhead, his sister Lula Cogan, 3 grandchildren Michelle Chaney (T.J.), Brandy Erwin-Rolle and Nathan Jeremy Brock along with 4 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at Glenwood Funeral Home in Vicksburg on Thursday, June 19,2025 at 11 am in the Chapel. Visitation will be Wednesday June 18, 2025, from 4 PM – 6 PM and Thursday, June 19, 2025, from 10 AM to the hour of service. Burial will be at Redbone Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jay Hearn, Alvin Geter, Tony VanNorman, Jacob Ross, Daryle Whittington and Billy Ray Muirhead.
