Sybile M. Strait

Syble M. Strait passed away on January 2, 2025, at the age of 71.

Syble was born on May 25, 1953, the daughter of the late Willard White and Syble McDonald White. She was a Special Education Teacher for many years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved to make people laugh. She enjoyed crocheting and loved animals. She loved her family and the Lord.

She is survived by her husband Jacob Strait, sons Joseph Mahfouz, Jr. (Donna), Richard Mahfouz, and Jason Mahfouz, brother Greg White (Lisa), sister Guinell Smith, grandchildren Paul Lewis, Lisa Hayes (Charlie), Syria Mahfouz and Kaia Mahfouz, great-grandchildren Vivian, Kai and Bella and her very close friend Shana Lee.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 6, 2025, at Glenwood Funeral Home, officiated by Josh Covington. Visitation will be from 1:00 p. m until the hour of the service.
