Thomas G. Barton, Sr.

Thomas Barton passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2024.

To know Thomas was to love him. He was such a loving person. He loved to spend time outside, spending time with his kids, loved collecting baseball cards and he took pride in raising his children. He loved his family very much.

He is preceded in death by his mother Kathryn Francis Guilbert and his father Edward Barton.

He is survived by his loving wife Maria Barton; 6 children and their spouses Stephanie (Cartez) Evans, Candice (Joshua) Boyd ,Nicole (Jarrious) Richards, Katelyn Barton, Bailey Barton and Thomas Barton Jr; 2 grandchildren Karson Ross and Gianna Richards and his brother Lee (Paige) Barton and his 2 children Aleeya and Wyatt Barton. A host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Glenwood Funeral Home with Saint Michael’s Church officiating the service. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 26, 2024, at Glenwood Funeral Home and also from 12:00 p.m.  until the hour of the service on Saturday. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Michael Oliver, Jarrious Richards, Jesse Martinez, Lore Martinez, Jay Kraemer, Cartez Evans. Honorary pallbearer will be Lee Barton.
