Thomas Alan Lauderdale

Thomas Alan Lauderdale (Alan) passed away peacefully at his home Sunday, September 21, 2025.

He was 66 years old. Alan was born August 22, 1959, in Hammond, LA. He was the son of Thomas and Jane Lauderdale. He was one of five children.

Alan worked as a foreman for Patton-Tully Marine for over 20 years and retired in July 2025. Alan was an avid deer and turkey hunter. He married the love of his life, Sandra, in 1993. He had one daughter, Marley Lauderdale, and two stepchildren, Robert Shannon "Shan" Woods and Tonya Woods.

Alan is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Jane Lauderdale, and his step son, Robert Shannon "Shan" Woods. Alan is survived by his loving wife Sandra Lauderdale, his daughter, Marley Lauderdale, step daughter, Tonya Woods, two sisters, Vicki Blackwell and Denise Grigas (Steve), two brothers, Steve Lauderdale (Wendy) and James "Bubba" Lauderdale (Lisa), one grandson, Shawn Woods (Hanna), and multiple nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Glenwood Funeral Home in Vicksburg, MS on Friday, September 26, 2025. There will be a visitation at 12 P.M. and a service at 1 P.M. with Rev. Robert Andrews officiating. Honorary pallbearers are Jeff Worley, Mike Brown, K.B. Brown, Raymond Prescott, Chris Emfinger, and Shawn Woods.
