Thomas Henry McKnight

Thomas Henry McKnight passed away Friday, May 19, 2023 at UMMC surrounded by his loved ones.

Tom was born in Redwood, MS October 25, 1954. He attended Redwood School, Warren Central High School and graduated Tri-County Academy, where he played football, participated in the 4-H club, and drove the school bus. He went on to graduate from Mississippi State University with a bachelor’s degree in General Agriculture. Tom was an avid hunter and golfer, as well as part of a 75-year-old Warren County farming legacy alongside his brother Edward Roscoe McKnight III.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jean Graves McKnight and Edward Roscoe McKnight II, his son-in-law Kelly Alexander Bufkin, and his faithful sidekick Dakota.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years Judith King McKnight; his 2 sons Dustin Henry McKnight (Natalie) and Michael Thomas McKnight (Lindsey); his 2 daughters Melody McKnight Humphries (Brian) and Katherine McKnight Bufkin; 6 grandchildren Emma Humphries-McKnight, Tania McKnight, Braeden McKnight, Abigail McKnight, Jonathan McKnight, and Logan McKnight; brother Edward Roscoe McKnight III; and sister Emilie Staggs.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 Monday, May 22 at Glenwood Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to :
