Wallace Randall Gay

Wallace Randall Gay passed away on November 20, 2025, at the age of 76.

Randall was born in Vicksburg, MS on January 22, 1949, the son of Wallace Moore Gay and Ruth Mendrop Gay.  He graduated from H. V. Cooper High School and was a member of the high school band. He attended Mississippi State University and received his MBA from Mississippi College.  He served as the Head of the Child and Parenting Center and was a member of the Exchange Club. He loved watching all sports. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Keith Gay.

He is survived by his wife Marsha Cox Gay, son Paul Gay, brother Mark Gay (Sue) and grandchildren Jason Gay, Vincent Gay and Ale' Gay.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, November 24, 2025, at Glenwood Funeral Home, officiated by Jeffery Murphy.  Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until the hour of the service. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Grayson Rankin, Mike Gay, Tom Gay, John Robert Rankin, David Wood and Bill Mendrop.
