Walter F. Clark passed away on December 22, 2024, at the age of 71.
Walter was born on August 22, 1953, the son of the late Harry Clark and Lucille Sassone Clark. He retired from Grand Gulf after 30 plus years of service. He was a professional piddler with many hobbies including riding his motorcycle, flying planes, photography, drafting and traveling. He was very adventurous and was always up to a trip. He never met a stranger and always made everyone feel welcome. He wanted to know where people were from and their story so he could find a way to connect with them. He was a jokester and always had a good comeback and had the best sayings. Most of all he was a fantastic Pee Paw.
He is survived by his wife Michelle Clark, son Michael Clark (Morgan), daughter Allison Durr (Bronson), step-daughter Emily Greer, brother Jerry Clark (Kathy), sisters Pat Roberts (Glenn), Lynn Rodegard (Bruce), Jenny Aucoin (Jimmy Grow) and Theresa Courtney (Louie) and grandchildren Caden Durr, Cayleigh Durr, Caycee Durr, Callen Durr and Axel Malone.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Glenwood Funeral Home in Vicksburg. Visitations will be held from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Friday and from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of the service on Saturday.
Memorials may be made to Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital in honor of Cayleigh Adyson Durr, a ten-year cancer survivor.
