Wilda Fay Carter

Wilda Fay Carter passed away on Friday, April 2, 2021 at the age of 83.

Wilda was born in Meadville, MS on July 23, 1937, the daughter of Joseph Nettles and Hallie Ann Beasley Nettles.  She lived in Kenner, LA for many years and Rolling Fork, MS for 23 years.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of Rolling Fork, MS.  

She was preceded in death by her husband Claude Ray Carter; her parents, brothers and sister.

She is survived by her son Jerry L. Carter (Connie); daughter Connie Wagner; sister Pearl Ford; 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Rolling Fork with Rev. Bert Williamson officiating.  Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at the church.  Burial will follow in Mound Cemetery in Rolling Fork under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Todd Heigle, Eddie Jones and Brandon Anderson.
