William Scott Cummins, Sr.

William Scott Cummins Sr., age 82, passed away on February 13, 2025. 

He worked for Cappaert Manufacturing Housing for over 30 years. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Elmo Cummins and Mattie Colvin; his wife, Gloria Cummins; and his daughter, Terri Reeves. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Virginia McNease and Ann Glover, and his brothers, Jerry Cummins Sr. and Lee Cummins.

William is survived by his son, William Scott Cummins Jr. of Benton, AR, and his daughters, Carolyn Walker (Robert) of Vicksburg, MS, and Vicki Wester (Bill) of Vicksburg and son-in-law Mark Reeves. He leaves behind cherished grandchildren: Krystal Fontenot, Christopher Smith Jr., Justin Cummins, Ashley Jackson, Alex Walker, Preston Wester, Jacob Cummins, and Lexi Wester.

 He is also remembered by his great-grandchildren: Brandy Belgard, Allen Fontenot, Mallory & Aurora Smith, Emalyn, Warren & Walker Jackson, Sawyer & Branson Wester, Cecilia Cummins, and Riggs Wright.  

Additionally, he is survived by his brother Doug Cummins and Jackie of Chatman, LA, sister Barbara Plumley of Swartz, LA, a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends. He loved all of his family with all of his heart. 

This is not goodbye; this is see you later. William is at rest and looking into the eyes of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Glenwood Funeral Home.
