Willie M. Garrard

Mrs. Willie M. Garrard passed away Monday, April 1, 2019. She was 83 years old.

Mrs. Garrard was born in Louisville, MS. and had been a resident of Vicksburg for 60 years. She retired from Cooper Lighting and also work as a day care worker at Woodlawn Baptist Church where she was also a member.

She is survived by her sons Prentiss Garrard (Joan), and Wayne Garrard (Linda); 4 grandchildren Shane Garrard (Brittany), Erik Garrard, Heather McNeill (Hewitt), and Lindsey Garrard; 6 great-grandchildren Mia Garrard, Alyssia Kyzar, Elaina Garrard, Chase McNeill, Hayden McNeill, and Clinton Measell.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Glenwood Funeral Home with services beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery. Rev. Wade Hammack will be officiatint.

Pallbearers will be Ryan McNeill, Hewitt Tapp, Kenny Hinson, Brandon Smith, Ryan Lewis, and Rich Phillips.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dee Irwin and Mary Gordon.
